Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at jzsgreenscapes.com or engaging JZ's Greenscapes ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for landscaping services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site or our services.

2. Services

JZ's Greenscapes provides property services including lawn maintenance, edging, trimming, cleanups, sod installation, mulch and rock installation, flower bed installation, debris hauling, and pressure washing. All services are subject to:

• A separate written service agreement or proposal signed by both parties
• Full payment according to the agreed payment schedule
• Reasonable access to your property during scheduled service times
• Client cooperation and timely communication regarding project requirements

3. Estimates and Pricing

All quotes and estimates provided by JZ's Greenscapes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen site conditions are encountered. We will notify you of any material changes to pricing before proceeding. Additional charges may apply for work performed outside the original scope.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as specified in your service agreement. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before project commencement
• Invoices are due within 15 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed
• Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge
• We reserve the right to suspend services for unpaid accounts
• Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of scheduled services. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. For project-based work, cancellation after commencement may result in charges for work already completed and materials already ordered.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful service delivery, clients agree to:

• Provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area
• Inform us of any underground utilities, irrigation lines, or property hazards
• Secure pets during service visits
• Obtain any required permits unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Promptly communicate any concerns or change requests

7. Warranty and Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 7 days and we will return to address the concern at no additional charge. Plant and sod material warranties vary by type and are subject to proper client watering and care following installation. Any additional workmanship warranty will be stated in the written service agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

JZ's Greenscapes' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed utilities, or damage caused by extreme weather events.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design plans created by JZ's Greenscapes, is our property and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact us directly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the state where services were performed. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of that state.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
